About Grace

Grace Academy Learning Center for the Academic Success of all Students K-8.

Grace Academy is an independent private school and learning center that affirms parents in their role as the primary educators of their children.  Grace Academy acts as an “agent of education,” for homeschooling families by parent-teacherfiling all state required paperwork, maintaining student academic records, preparing professional transcripts, and providing official diplomas for elementary and high school graduates. At Grace, we recognize the transcendent role of the parents in their child’s education and remain subject to the parents as principals.

Grace Academy is committed to providing a variety of services, enrichment classes and one-on-one tutoring programs to enhance the instruction children are already receiving at home or school.  We are a non-profit volunteer based ministry passionate about easing the burdens of homeschooling families in our area and reducing the strain of local students submerged in a frail educational system.

Grace Academy is dedicated to creating a place of learning in which education is an atmosphere, a discipline and a life.

An Ecumenical Calling

Grace Academy was founded by Catholic families and is guided by ecumenical Catholic principles, which should be respected, but need not be accepted. Our classes are open to all students, regardless of religious affiliation.

“I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things.” ― Mother Teresa

It is our firm belief that God is eager to see every Christian brother and sister join together to celebrate all that they hold in common.  Jesus prayed that all of His followers “may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You.  May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.” (John 17:20)

Saint John Paul II wrote, “Indeed all the faithful are asked by the Spirit of God to do everything possible to strengthen the bonds of communion between all Christians and to increase cooperation between Christ’s followers” (That They May Be One, 101).
